WRITING SAMPLES & LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

I am the Founder of The Mark Literary Review, an online literary magazine.  From 2018 to 2021, I was the magazine's editor-in-chief and led a team of 12 volunteers. We solicited short stories and poetry from people all over the globe. We published a total of 32 editions until I made the hard decision to close the magazine down in 2021. It was a huge time commitment and not something I was making money from. When I decided to go back to school at the University of Minnesota, I closed the magazine. You can still view the editions here. I'd also like to note that I grew the magazine's Twitter (X) account to over 4,000 followers at its height.
